What Are Food Additives? Food additives are substances added to enhance flavour,colour, shelf life, or texture. While thousands are legally permitted and regulated by authorities, are they good for your well-being? Probably not! Here are a few common examples: Emulsifier E471 in most of the ice-cream brands; Brilliant Blue E133 as colouring and Xanthan Gum E415 as thickener in Wasabi paste; Aspartame E951 as sweetener in Diet Cola UK. Set up a Trade Account:
We offer two types of accounts with different payment terms:

The applicable option will generally depend on your credit rating. Our decision is primarily based on the credit limit recommended by CreditSafe.

How to Order:
Send your order by email to beatrice@thebasicingredients.com, including the product code, product name, and quantity.

Minimum Order Quantity: £500 minimum per order within the UK. Our order quantity is based on multiples of one case, individual units are not available. Units per case varies depending on the item.

Pricing: All prices are based on Ex-Works terms. We will prepare your order for collection from our warehouses. Frozen collections are from Peterborough and ambient collections from Crick.
