Position: Junior Buyer   

Location: Office based, King’s Cross, London

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Planning: Issue purchase orders to approved suppliers according to demand.

  • Customs clearance: Request shipping &commercial documents, including CoA according to signed specs from suppliers at point of ETD. Submit accurate documentations to customs or agents in a timely manner.

  • Forwarding and Goods intake: Organize inbound transport and goods- in booking, verify goods received notes for quality control and inventory accuracy.

  • Landed cost: Conduct inbound container cost in SAP Business One.

  • Other Supply Chain Tasks: Provide cover for supply chain colleagues during periods of annual leave, ensuring continuity of operations. Annual leave cover for colleagues in supply chain.

  • KPI Delivery: Meet or exceed KPIs, particularly on areas related to inventory control & optimization.

 

Key Skills & Experience

  • Competent in Communication:  Join us if you are good at verbal communication.  Email is eliminated to the minimum at TBI. Unnecessary emails are forbidden both internally & externally.

  • Undergraduate degree in food science preferred: Solid knowledge in food safety, regulatory affairs or microbiology is advantageous.

  • Speed:  High-speed mindset, consistently seeking to improve efficiency and eager to impress by speed with compromising accuracy.

  • Ability to influence colleagues constructively: We don’t need yes woman/man in the team. We value team members who challenge and contribute.

  • Experience in completing import & export custom declarations in CDS

  • Familiar with: SAP Business one, EDI or other equivalent software

  • Bilingual: fluent in one or more of the following languages is an advantage:  Dutch, Chinese, French, German, Korean, Vietnamese.

  • Annual Salary: £28,080
