Annual Salary: £23,000

Personal Development Fund: £2,000 per year for professional training, personal well-being, or work-related skills (e.g. Endurance Strength training, CIPS, Dutch, French courses, etc).

Incentive Pay: To be introduced upon successful completion of the probation period.

Job Description
-
Sourcing: Identify, negotiate, and secure suppliers that provide high-quality products while delivering value and cost efficiency.

Inventory & Demand Planning: Issue purchase orders to optimise stock levels, minimize write-offs, and improve product rotation. Conduct weekly stock meeting on Tuesdays at 9:00AM.

Cost Management: Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies to maintain a competitive buying advantage and support sales growth.

Safety & Legality Control: Ensure all products meet BRCGS food safety and quality standards, comply with food regulations.

Product Innovation: Collaborate with internal teams on new & existing product development.

Buying Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends and pricing dynamics.

Performance Goals: Achieve key buyer performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Skills

Strong cost control and negotiation skills.

ERP software proficiency.

Bilingual (Dutch, French, German, Korean, Vietnamese)

High-speed decision-making with meticulous attention to detail.

BRCGS, HACCP Level 3 certification for food manufacturing.
